Health & Safety Policies

COVID-19 Precautions and Procedures for USS21

The Ultimate Sugar Show's 2021 Healthy & Safety Policies involve a three angle approach: Face Coverings, Temperature Screenings and Physical Distancing. Although you or your party may have received a Covid-19 Vaccination, these policies will be required of ALL Attendees, Exhibitors and Staff Members.

Please continue reading to learn more about this year's policies.

Face Coverings

Face coverings are required for all Attendees (ages 2 and up), Vendors, and Staff, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine. We ask that you please bring your own face coverings and wear them at all times, except while eating or drinking. You may remove your face covering while actively eating or drinking, but you must be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing.

All face coverings (whether disposable or reusable) must:

  • Fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin,
  • Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face, and
  • Be secured with ties or ear loops and allow the wearer to remain hands-free

At this time, based on guidance from health authorities, neck gaiters, open-chin triangle bandanas, face coverings containing valves, mesh material or holes, and open-chin plastic face shields of any kind are not acceptable face coverings.

Face coverings may have an integrated transparent plastic panel to aid in viewing the wearer’s mouth. These face coverings must:

  • Be a fabric face covering featuring a solid plastic panel containing no openings that is attached to the fabric on all sides using tight knit stitching, and
  • Meet all face covering requirements listed above.

The use of face coverings is not a substitute for physical distancing.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and those with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By visiting The Ultimate Sugar Show in Atlanta, GA, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Let's help keep each other healthy and follow these basic guidelines to keep our community safe.

Temperature Screenings

You will be required to undergo a temperature screening with a no-touch thermometers before entry into Ultimate Sugar Show events and activities at the Cobb Galleria Centre, including the Exhibition Hall, Hands on Classes and Demonstrations.

Based on guidance from health authorities, anyone displaying a temperature of 100.4 F or above will not be allowed entry; those in their party will not be allowed entry either.

We recommend that before you leave home, be sure to check the temperatures of everyone in your party —including yourself— as an extra layer of precaution.

Physical Distancing

Physical distancing measures may include:

Signage and Ground Markings: Please follow directional signage and ground markings, which have been installed throughout the Cobb Galleria Centre to help attendees better navigate common areas while practicing physical distancing.
